Political Rally to be Held May 10
at Gustavus Adolphus College
ST. PETER, Minn. (April 30, 2003) – The public is invited to
"Demfest II," a multi-speaker political rally, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday,
May 10 on Eckman Mall at Gustavus Adolphus College.
Several Minnesota Democratic Party politicians are expected to participate,
including U.S. Senator Mark Dayton, Minnesota Senate Majority Leader John
Hottinger, Congressperson Betty McCollum, Minnesota Attorney General Mike
Hatch, State Representative Rebecca Otto, and State Representative John
Lesch. Other surprise guests are also expected to participate.
The Gustavus College Democrats will emcee the event.
Each participant will give a 10- to 20-minute speech, followed by a question and answer session. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, along with entertainment by the band Just Add Water and Gustavus student musician Mattson Zust.

Gustavus Adolphus College is a private liberal arts
